Pre-degree (Foundation)
The School of Foundation Studies offers remedial admission into 100 Level and JUPEB admission into 200 Level at AUST or other universities.

Undergraduate (100 Level)
Five O'Level credits, including English Language and Mathematics, in not more than two sittings, plus a valid JAMB UTME result with AUST as first choice.
Direct Entry (200 Level)
A recognised National Diploma, NCE, A-Level or JUPEB qualification in a relevant field, in addition to the O'Level requirements.
Master's (M.Sc.)
A bachelor's degree in a relevant field from a recognised university. Your degree transcript and certificate are required with your application.
Doctorate (Ph.D.)
A relevant master's degree from a recognised university, with a strong academic record and a clear statement of purpose.

We welcome applications from around the world: first-year and direct-entry undergraduates, and graduates applying for M.Sc. and Ph.D. programmes.
Register through JAMB with AUST as your first choice, then complete AUST's online screening. If AUST was not your first choice, use the JAMB E-facility 'Application for Correction of Data' service to change your course/institution to AUST.

Every application needs a degree transcript, a degree certificate and a passport or National ID. Your statement of purpose is written inside the application, and a CV is optional. Documents are checked by the Admissions Office; if one cannot be verified it is marked rejected with a reason, and you can upload a replacement.
The fee for the current admission cycle is shown in your application and on this page under Key dates. Pay by bank transfer to the AUST Admissions account, quoting your application reference, then enter the payment reference in your application. The Admissions Office confirms your payment before your application is reviewed.
Each admission cycle has its own opening and closing dates, listed under Key dates on this page. Applications must be submitted before the cycle closes; late applications are carried into the next cycle where possible.

Your applicant portal shows your status at every stage — submitted, under review, interview or waitlist, and the final decision — and you'll receive a notification each time it changes.
